Bucks Food For Friends

In May 2008 a group of Quakers felt the need to address the food insecurity they were seeing in their communities. Bucks Food for Friends was formed, with the mission to serve monthly home-style dinners in a warm, respectful atmosphere to those in need in the Lower Bucks County area. The first of many monthly meals was served to eleven people in October 2008. Bucks Food for Friends continues to serve those in the community still experiencing food insecurity, and in 2020 our group of dedicated volunteers continues to serve and share meals with a group that has grown to 50–65 people each month.

Meals were suspended in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but are scheduled to restart in October 2024.

Meals are held at 6:00 pm on the third Monday of every month at Fallsington Quaker Meetinghouse, 9300 New Falls Road, Fallsington, PA 19054.
